CHILDREN, CAR SEATS AND BEING MALAYSIAN

Unless it is a law, we usually won’t do it or stop doing what we are not supposed to be doing. However, where the safety of children is concerned, it is time for parents to realise the importance of car-seats and placing all children in them especially the under 1 year olds. Sure, you think your child is not used to it and cries a lot. Guess what? They will get used to it like everything else, folks!

Imagine the unthinkable occurring...it is better to be safe than sorry later on. Many children including children with special needs get used to car seats if they are exposed to it consistently and repetitiously each time they get in the car. The first trips in the car seats may bring about tantrums or crying, maybe even yelling and screaming but over time, children will get used to it and they will learn to enjoy to high vantage point they look out from.

Please parents, I do encourage you to give this some serious thought and practice safety measures. It is an investment in your child’s life and can be re-used for other children. Car seats can be added to your baby shower wish lists and someone else will be happy to invest for you too!
